Siboney Learning Group Appoints New Sales Director

ST. LOUIS, MO, December 19, 2006 -- Siboney Learning Group, publisher of state-correlated educational software, recently announced that effective January 2, 2007, Jan West will be promoted to Sales Director for the Educational Activities Software (EAS) line.

"Jan's extensive background in the adult and adolescent learner market, as well as her many contacts within this field nationally, make her an ideal choice for this position," said Alan Stern, National Sales Director for Siboney Learning Group. "We're fortunate to have her."

In her new position, Jan will be responsible for all of the sales and marketing of Educational Activities Software products and will work directly with sales representatives, reseller channels, consultants, and customers to grow the EAS product line. She will also focus on maintaining a presence at state and national conferences and trade shows.

"My passion is working with older learners, so I was pleased when Alan offered me this opportunity," said Jan. "My background fits perfectly with this new position, and I look forward to a great year for EAS in 2007."

Jan is a 14-year veteran of the educational software industry. In 1996, she co-founded WestHall Software Solutions, which primarily targeted the older learner market. In 2006, Jan joined the Siboney Learning Group sales team. Jan also spent several years as a corporate trainer. She earned her bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
