Requirements: Orchard 4.4, 4.4.1, or 4.4.2 for Windows or Mac OS X and Internet access (for installation)
The Orchard 4.4.3 update is available to customers that currently have Orchard 4.4, 4.4.1, or 4.4.2 for Windows or Mac OS X installed. This update includes the following changes as well as those in the previously released 4.4.1 and 4.4.2 updates:

Management System
- Added ability to assign students to a grade level of Pre-K. Students can also now be filtered on this value.
- Added ability to upload default demographic information fields to PracticePlanet. Note: Uploading of custom fields and custom field values is not supported at this time.
- Added display of aligned standards when viewing details for an OFYS or custom assessment test.
- Added ability to transfer student data for a custom test to another school if that test exists in the receiving school. Note: The custom test must be transferred to the receiving school before the student data is transferred.
- Added warning when an attempt is made to transfer a student that has data for a custom test that does not exist in the school that is to receive the student data. Note: If the warning is ignored and the student is transferred before transferring the custom test, the student's data for the custom test will be permanently lost.
- Improved the performance of some reports.
- Fixed a problem with interval assignments that occurred when a teacher set the day or week frequency to a value of 0 (zero).
- Fixed a problem that occurred when attempting to import students that were previously exported from Orchard.
- Fixed a problem with the user import wizard related to the retention of demographic settings.
- Fixed a problem with the Filter Programs dialog that occurred when the teacher filtered, clicked Cancel, and then returned to the Filter Programs dialog.
- Fixed a problem related to database locking during the update process.
- Fixed some problems with dialog messages that are displayed to the user.
Assessment
- Added a parameter to disable the randomization of test question answer choices. This parameter may be set for individual tests on a per class or per student basis. When set for a group of students or for an entire class, students taking the test on the same day will see the answer choices in exactly the same order. This is useful in situations where the questions must be read aloud to students as they take a test with fixed questions created using the OAAB. Note: OFYS tests do not have fixed questions. Each time an OFYS test is taken, questions are randomly selected for presentation to the student from a larger pool of questions. Therefore, this new parameter is most effectively used with fixed question tests created in the OAAB.
- Principles of Math Skill Trees (212MC and 213MC) are now assigned as appropriate by math assessment tests.
- Added informational data for non-assessed skills. This information will be used by future updates to Orchard.

- Fixed an issue that would occur in Math Concepts K-3 if the teacher unchecked the "Re-enable activities when all have been completed" parameter and a student subsequently entered a Skill Tree in this series and then immediately exited without first completing an activity. This would cause the Skill Tree to be removed from the student's assignment list.

There are two ways in which to install this update:
- Use the Orchard Gold Star Manager
- Log into the Orchard Manager as the administrator user.
- Choose Check for Updates... from the File menu.
- Click Apply Update and follow the on-screen prompts.
- Download the appropriate attachment below (recommended for users without Internet access at an Orchard workstation or with multiple standalone computers)
- Click to download Win_443_Install.zip for Windows or Mac_443_Install.zip for Mac OS X.
- Unzip the file once it has been downloaded.
- Double-click on the application to launch it.
- Follow the on-screen prompts.
