Term used when the Orchard Gold Star databases for two or more schools are hosted on a single database server.  The Orchard content for each school may or may not be hosted on the same physical server.  The speed of the district's WAN should be considered when determining whether or not a cluster is an appropriate option and if content should also be delivered over the WAN or hosted locally at the school site.

Sometimes referred to as the OAAB, the Orchard Assessment and Assignment Builder is a utility included with Orchard for Your State that allows educators to search through a database of their state standards and create customized assessments and assignments targeting those standards they are interested in.
